|Lighthouse Briefing Sessions for Helpers||Princes Risborough Baptist Church or on site - dependant on day.||Tuesday 16th July 2019 at 7:00pm||
A requirement of being a helper is that you attend one of the helper Briefing Sessions.
The briefings last approximately one hour and give you the opportunity to meet your co-ordinator and be given important information about the week including the Theme so you are able to respond to any questions the children might ask you.
It is also important that you are familiar with the Lighthouse safeguarding policies and emergency procedures.
There are two briefings and you must attend one unless you are a co-ordinator or Age Group Leader, in which case please ensure your area or age group is covered at both sessions:
Tuesday 16th July 2019 at 7 pm at Princes Risborough Baptist Church, Upper Hall, 42 Bell Street, Princes Risborough. Bucks. HP27 0AD. Access is via Bell Street and follow the footpath up to the upper hall or Bell Close, if travelling by car.
Sunday 28th July 2019 at 4.30 pm on Site at Princes Risborough School, use the New Road Coach entrance to access the site. You will see a Lighthouse Banner on the Coach Road entrance.
If you are unable to make either of these sessions, you must inform the lighthouse co-ordinator at .

|Lighthouse Fiesta events - Thursday 1st August||On site in the Big Top||Thursday 01st August 2019 at 7:00pm||
Tonight's activity is exactly what it says on the tin: REALLY Messy Games!
Basically, all that is messy and can be thrown, is thrown! In fact you will go home home plastered in paint and gunk resembling a living abstract painting!
Please warn your parents/carers (and any other unsuspecting relatives) that you will seriously be covered from head to toe! We also have a giant slip and slide as one of the activities so it is very important that you make us aware of any injuries that you need to be careful of.
Over the years we have devised a simple survival kit for the legendary messy games at Lighthouse PR:
1) Wear old clothes that can be thrown out.
2) Don't bring any valuables
3) Do bring a towel or blanket if it's chilly on the evening.
4) Cover your car in SEVERAL bin bags
5) Wash down the shower immediately after you've used it (or better still hose yourself down in the garden!).
6) Say a heartfelt apologies to parent/carers stating 'I'm really sorry...I had no idea it would be like this!'
Overall then, don't worry about the flour in your hair or powder paint covered limbs as this will wash out in a month or two. However, the tales will go down into Lighthouse folklore and the memories immortalised on our Facebook page!
